I'm home!!

  • Apr. 17th, 2008 at 10:51 PM

Hello everybun. I am very pleased to say that I'm back at home after my sojourn at the vets - which is in a very nice (and Mummy says expensive) part of Essex I'll have you know! I'm feeling much better and have been very lively since I got back. I don't think Monty was terribly pleased to see me and have to share this things again so Mummy took us both for a little reintroduction in the kitchen where we don't often go. Well, it wasn't long before I had made myself look gorgeous and Monty had obliged with a lick. We're back in the living room now and while we aren't quite best friends yet we're getting there. In fact, I just had a spontaneous lick while I was typing!!

Mummy showed me all the lovely posts from while I was poorly. I know Mummy, Mummy and Monty appreciated them all - even though none of them managed to visit me and pass on my messages during my hospitalisation...humph.

Love and licks (with just a little snorting and grunting from Monty). Ruby xxx.

Wooby on the mend

  • Apr. 16th, 2008 at 2:03 PM

Well, young Wooby is feeling much better today, eating and pooing normally (rather a lot of the latter according to the nurse) and generally up to mis-chief in the hop-ital. My good friend Mr Lewis, who gives my own teef a burrin' wegularly, is going to see her this afternoon cos she is so much better and might not need her teef checkin after all.

One of my Mums is very anxious and sez can you all cwoss your paws that Woobs duzzn't need a dental and can come home tonite.

18.40pm

Owa hopes have been dashed a bit. Mr Lewis - who is a bunny egg-spurt [and gives lek-chairs and everything] has kept Roobs for furver obbervation and he says he duzzin fink its her teef!
We don't fink there is anyfink too much to wowwy about but as he is the egg-spurt and he only came back from holidaze today - he would like to monitor her personally over the night. I fink that he finks she is too coote and duzzin want to give her back; Mummy agwees wiv me.

My wowwy is that when she douz eventwally come home; she's not gonna love us anymore - or she will smell so funny that I will want to bite her. The vets have kept our cawwy box I can't go and get her; any suggestions on re-bunding us would be mostest appweciated. I keep having to check the pooter for her pictcha as I have fur-gotten what she looks like.....

What do I do wiv myself?

  • Apr. 15th, 2008 at 9:35 AM

Hewo everybun,

My Rooby has gon to the hoppital cause she's not feeling so well. She hasn eaten anyfink today and woz sitting in the corner of the woom being sad. Yestaday there was some blood on the floor when mums got home but they couldn see or find anyfink wrong wiv eiver of us. We woz bowf fine and ate all our dinner and everyfink.

We haf say-sis meddycation here at home but the vet-lady said it woz best to keep her in for the day in case she has a blokcage. Knowing Ruby this could be anyfink from curtains, to cables, to bits of sofa what she has slowly been chewin her way fru.

Mum has stayed at home today to be wiv me and we will all phone the hoppital later to see how she is doing.

Please send lotsa healin vibes to Miss Rooby.

Luff to everybun

Yours sincewely

Monty

2.50pm - I just made Mummy call the vet and they say that she weally isn't any betta. They are givin her floo-ids and she is quite comfortable but they won't xray her probly until tomorrow. Mummy is a bit upset so I am trying to cheer her up by being cute. I haf been sleeping in her spot all day....

7.05pm - I just heard Mummy call the vet again and Rooby is now eating on her own and has started pooin' as well. We are all weally pleased and can relax a bit this evening. Mummy sez that the vet finks that Rooby might av some spurs on her back teef and they are goin to look at these tomowwow under a general nannys-fetic. Mummy keeps tellin me that I am bein very lay-z while Rooby is away and sez that I am a typical male - doin nuffin cos no bun is nagging me!!!!

Hewo Everybun....

Yes we is bowf still here and we are coming out of 3 munfs undacuvva hoperashions to say a quick hewo to all owa fwends in Lagomorphia. We was devistated when Ollie passed away and so was owa mums and we fink that wus the last time we wus ere.

Chwistmas came and wended, then mummy got a pwomotion and hogged the pooter all the time, then we went on holidays and then the boiler man came - its all been soooo busy.

Rooby and me haffin forggoten about LIA and have been in twaining constantly. Roobs is now master of hiding in a box and I am still honin my doppelganger skills. Rooby has been teachin me how to act like a girl bunny so I can fulfil my obblygations to Jazz bunny and be her body double in times of stwife. I can now be just as stwoppy and demanding as any girl bunny! Last monf we went on overseas hopershions in a distant place called 'Suwwey' where we stayed in a speshul bunny lodge and carried out surveillance on ovver buns who are NOT LIA members. While we wus doin this important werk we sent our Mums to board somewhere called Prague in a 'hotel' where they just look after hoomans and nuffin else. We like to make sure they are looked after properlie when we aren't around.

Jazz - your new boy is so hansum - it makes Mummy bwoody but then we wemind her that two is quite enuff.

Anyway when we saw on the LIA awards this munf that we is inactive (mums would beg to differ) we knew we just had to bweak into mums work bag and gwab the pooter.

Here is two wecent pics of us to pwove we is actif.....or not...

Hellow Everybun

Glad yoo home Ollie - there is no place like it!! -

We spent the morning waiting for Mr Postie and he bwought us two fings - firstly a Chris moose card from JazznOllie (fank you so much) and then Bunny Tunes CD/DVD!!!! Yay! Thank so much to Cedwic and Millie's two-foots who sent it to us so quickly. We luff it and mums have been singing along to the cd in the car (we can tell as they still hummin). Its efen inspired mum to write her own bunny song for BT4???? God Help us!

It has done wonders cause one mum likes James Blunder and the ovver mum duzzint but she likes Aunty Kawens version of "you Bunderful" - we's very impwessed with Maddie's mums singin. We haffin heard everybuns two foots twying to sing but we fink what we haf heard has been furpekt. We luff sharin the limelight on the moosic video for chewd it my way wiv Jazz - even mum faught Jazz was Me and Me was Jazz! No mistaking Rooby's butt though...

Roobys not happy today and still milking the forced injection from Mr. Lewis as a form of tortcha and not letting mums forget it - she duzzint remember from last year but Myxi is doo in too weeks so that'll suprise her...

What a mingin day here in Essex - good job I'm in the best place, in my bed, warm, snoozin and listenin to Bunny Toons.

Hello Everybun.

We have been to see Mr. Lewis this evenink for our vee-h-dees which is not our favourite thing but mums say its to keep us safe from da seas. I know Engerland is a island but I didn't know we had to be afraid of da Seas. Anyway I also had my teefs burred and we bowf had a health check - I know Mr. Lewis is a bunny hexpert who does lekchairs on bunnies and fings but he didn't even say how fat Ruby is! I faught she might get a talkin too about nickin my grub and getting fat but....Nuffink!

Anyway we's just glad we don't have to stay at Mr. Lewis like Ollie boy is staying at his Auntie Brigitte's so we's feeling a bit contemplatif now whilst still managing to give Mums bunny-butt for taking us to Mr. Lewis.

Ps - we haf been told that one of these pwessies is for us but if we not good - we get nuffink!

Congwadgulations to everybun in the LIA and happy Shwedding Day.

Rooby an me did ask mum to bwing home some safe paypa, and cause of my dicky teef I need long stwips - mum bought me speshal stuff so I could suck to my hearts contented. I then went in for some LIA "camo-flarge" twaining - can you see me? and if you do see a very handsum bunny - could it possibly be a very pwetty Jazz bunny?

Rooby did arso have a honorary chew but she faught her pictcha didn't show her bestest side and refused to let me put it on the journal....

We haf arso had a bunderful afternoon by estending the shwedding day and helpin mum wrap Christmus pressies...although mum duzzin really consider it helpin...

Memmeratif Flop

  • Nov. 23rd, 2007 at 8:25 PM

In memmory of my daddy and Rooby's Gwandaddy - we have had a feuw minutes silence and had a flop of membrance; like we did for Giles.

Do we need a Wee-call??

  • Nov. 16th, 2007 at 1:26 PM

No, not that short of wee!! A bwoken mums wee-call. My mums arso been bwoken - she sez this fweezin wevver isn good fer her and she been poorly - may we should have advertising for temporary mums as we have been poorly neglected all week wiv wun mum bwoken and the ovver mum running around afta her. Hey - theres a idea - !!! Mum - I'm feelin thick.......

Anyways, before I really lay it on. We haf had a luffly time at gwanny and gwamps in Suwwy - they buy us loads and loads of tweats and we keep them fit and young by makin them get on the floor and give us loads of kisses n cuddles. Twas quite funny as cause Rooby chews things what she shouldnt, and cause mum forgot to pack the pen - they had to protect their tv with all sorts of cushions and tables and stuff all piled in front of the tele - it was a luffly assault course for me n roobs but the woom did look a site. Mums got back and said they missed us loads - we looked sad and pathetic for a few hours to make they feel guilty for leaving but they know we like it too much here. When we got home I had to go and sulk for an hour behind the sofa. Rooby didn't - she prefers owa house and took the opportunity to nick my bed while I was orf being mitherable.

My little Rooby is very pwoud of her LIA MHCB medal and is looking forward to her invitation to the 'wards ceremony. She has packed her bag (my bed, 1 chew toy, 1 brush, 5kg pack of Russell) and is waiting by the door for Mr Postie.

Anyway - I'm orf to run aorund the house then flop in front of mum so she thinks I'm poorly - bring on the treats!!!

mmmm- I'm just full of ideas - this could be good LIA training!!!

Hewo Evewybun.

Them LIA awards is egg-citing hey? Well, as I sed before Ruby and I been practissing owa LIA twaining and she was doing possible bomb diffusion using the vaccum cleaner. Mum was busy hooverin after us furry fings and Ruby didn't realise that the machine was on. She did "is it the red wire? Is it the blue wire?" for about 5 minutes and then chomped fru the cable when mum had her back turned........

Well!! There was a small splosion so I guess it WAS the blue wire. Rooby got a bit of a fwight and has singed all her whikskas so they all black and curly. After a BIG lekchair from bowf mums on chewin and safety - Rooby has decided the bomb squad is not for her. The LIA is best trying to find anovver cadet for this.

She still has many skills to offer and although is feeling a bit shaken up has returned to her best skill - diggin!

I'm arso a but put-out as moms are taking the cost of a new hoover from our pocket-money/bunny fund (harrumph - don't know why I'M being punished!!) -

Dear Everybun,

Looks like it has been a busy week for everybun. Merry has been poorly but is on the mend (yay), Moab is getting weddin jitters and the furry-mob seems to be gettin bigga everyday.

We haf been busy too - doing Lia twaining - Roobs is now master at camoflarge and hides behind the bushes in the garden so mums can't find her. I been pwatcising laps and am now a very speedy bun - PLUS if I go weally fast I spway all the gwavel in the garden on the patty-o so this is just a bonus. I am arso continuing two-foot twaining and haf started to go in the kitchen and jimmy them up if dinner is taking too long. Its vewy hard to ignore a bun when there is a bun on your feet! We haf also devised owaselves special LIA names like names from ancient times. We know we haf the names owa mums gave us but these are cool too. Can everybun come up with a cool ancient name?

Monty: "Oh Great Urinator on all things laminate and grandson of ye Great Flopper."
Ruby: "Destroyer of lawnonia and chief chewa of all things inedible."

Go on - everybun - give it a go!!!!

Chedding Comp-ee-tishun

  • Aug. 16th, 2007 at 7:46 PM

Ruby has seen Merridoe's comp-ee-tishun for chedding. We cant fishally enter cause Ruby refuses to get gwoomed and has to get wubbed outside so all the fur blows away. What we haf got is one days collection of fluff fwom the carpet and what woz wollin through the house like tumble-weed.

No wonder owa poor mum is always makin a wacket and sneezin! We used to run behind the sofa and thump but now we so used to it we just look annoyed at her!

CABBIN FEVA!

  • Aug. 15th, 2007 at 12:04 PM

Sorry everybun its bin ayges since we have been able to use the pooter. Mum has been looking for a you-sed car - she has decided at the vewy wipe age of 34 to get a dwivers licence. This maykes us vewwy nerfous as we don like goin in the car wiv the one mum, neffer mind bowf. We go all the time to see gwan and gwamps in Suwwy, but its not fun. Ruby sits on me all the way and she gets too scared and also pees a bit - so its not vewy plesant.

This weaver is just yucky - we enjoyed the sun so much for bowf days it did shine its now been wainin again and we have this cabbin feva. We don feel sick, in fact we been jus fine - chewin our box to wake them up at 7, scrapping and scwatching at it all mornin, Roobi did dwag our gwass bowl all ofa the lounge and then played in the mess, she bin upstairs and chewed some of mums sheets, I haf wee'd on the floor twice to get mum to do her yellin dance and neiver of us has settled down for some sleepin yet. This feva is fun!

Its owa birfdays next munf - Roobi's is on the 1st and mine is on twenny-seventh - dos anyone have ideas for what we should ask for, for a pwesent? I got Ruby for my 1st birfday present.... although I don fink its what I asked for.

The Worst Moult in Living History

  • Aug. 6th, 2007 at 7:36 PM

Monty has recently read to me some journals all dealing with a moult we all seem to be suffering from. I think this is an understatement and I am appealling to all buns and their staff to come up with a plan to stop this dreadful shedding from continuing. My mum is having to vacuum everyday and then get down on her hands and knees twice a day to de-fluff the lounge rug. I am then unceremoniously co-erced outside for a "rubbin". This entails mum voraciously rubbing me up the wrong way as fast as she can. Whilst I admit I find this pleasureable, it is probably not a sight for the neighbours to see me with my legs akimbo, my tail up against my back and all me looking like a puff ball. This in preference to chasing me around the house with the shedding comb which I do not like and will only JUST accept if done intermittantly with enormous quantities of treats.

I hate to admit it but my mum even put the hoover on me this evening! How humiliating! Woe is me!

Hardly looking my Beautiful self but just to show my suffrage

ps. Mum has told me to stop complaining as they are the ones who have injested enough fur to stuff a duvet! Monty is keeping very quiet but has mysteriously cut down on his grooming duties of late muttering constantly about fur-tongue.

Summer-time

  • Aug. 1st, 2007 at 10:00 AM

Hello Everybun,

We have had a busy week what with the comp-etishun (I still fink they woz all me) and the nommy-nashions. We are arso waiting for the birf of Maddie's gwanbuns who will be so cute. Mum can't believe how small we used to be; Ruby is such a fat lump now.
Summer is here at last and mums have put up our climbing frame (garden table and chairs). We haf been wacin about all morning, getting fit for LIA and enjoying mum bein at home too - life dozzin get any better.....snoooze...

Wee's Back

  • Jul. 24th, 2007 at 7:05 PM

Sowwy everywun - we haf been so busy all week that we jus havn had a chance on the compuker. We are vewwy glad Maddie is betta and haf made sure we found the time to jus keep checkin on her journal.

All owfer the weekend we was busy readin "Arry Podder" wiv our mums. They are jus a little bit sad like that and had to go and get one book each at midnight on Friday. We did wait all evenink for them but they sed the q wasn too bad and they was home by half pass midnight. We haf seen all the movies except the new wun as we not allowed at the cinnie-ma.

I am in the bunny-box a bit as I haf not been keepin my pwomise to not wee on the floor.

Tomorrow will be a big test as we haf a hanny-man comin to fix a new floor in the conservatwee. We dunno whats wrong wiv the old floor but there you go. There will be major upheaval in the house as me & Roobs will have to be upstairs wiv Mum while she twies to work. Mum finks she has us sussed. Rooby will spend the day under the bed chewin the sheets and I will be being watched like a hawk in case I look like I will wee on the carpet. Luckily us buns give our mums lots of warning by backing up, sitting very still, and then lookin blank wiv deep concentration - just enuff time to be gwabbed and unceremoniously dumped in the litter tway. Mum says we will eiver be on our bestest behaviour or we will be right little rotters. We are keepin it a secwet as to what we've decided.

This is me this week on the only dwy evenink in munfs.

Ruby Vs Hedgehog

  • Jul. 17th, 2007 at 6:44 PM

We is awl still wishin the bestest for Maddie, its hopeful that she is gettin a bit betta.

We had a bit of a hexperience at the weekend. Our gwan and gwamps was over to stay wiv us and we was all out in garden on Saturday evenink when we had a bbq. Roobs and I was playin in the garden, doin laps and stuff when we all stopped for a second - the twofoots, me and Rooby! There walkin along the back fence was a HOOGE, prickly, moving thing. I took one look and zoomed it back into the house, fumping as much as I could. I don't like stwange fings at the best of times - mum says I am a woos but I haf never come acwoss such a terrifying cweature. Rooby wasn scared though cause shes a fat lump and she started walkin towards it. I screamed at her NO! Mom had to pick her up and distwact her wiv food (easily done). I dont know why she didn't run back into the house wiv me - it was horrible! Twas only later when I heard mum talking to gwanny that I heard it was a huge big scawy BABEEHEDG'OG. I dunno what it is but it even sounds orrible.
Mum wants to know if these huge big scawy cweatures can cawwy myxi. Doz anywun know? Also Rooby is kickin me off the compuker so she can winge.

Actually its not a winge; more of a pondering as a result of a disappointment. The remnants of my latest sea-grass mat are such that it now resembles a moth-bitten piece of old hay. I asked Mum to order me a new one but she's just told me that both of our usual on-line places are out of stock! This is quite distressing. Does anyone know where we might try? I am doing my best but at this rate will be resorting to sharpening my teeth on the still new lounge rug or sneeking into Mums room to have another go at their sheets! Help Buns! Yours Ruby.

Hewo Everybun,

We hath had a buthy week and we like all thu buns ith cwothing pawth for Maddie Bun. I hath a lithp ath I hath bin to Mr. Lewith who done me a burrin. I bether let Ruby catch up with our newth as a lithp and a makkle-loosion ith not eathy for a wee bun. (all 11 pounds of me).

Indeed, we have had a nice week, spent some time in the garden, chewing tarpaulin, messing up the pebble stones and eating all the plants. I don't know why two-foots plant things like nasturtium (yes you can eat those) right next to something else (no you can't eat that). Its very confusing, you know! Yes, Master Monty has been to see Mr. Lewis and only sulked for 10 minutes when he got back. I know its not a lot of fun for him but Mr. Lewis says his teeth are so healthy even though they grow mis-aligned. I don't think it would be nice for him to have them extracted and this way he gets a check-over every 8 weeks as well.

Gwanny and Gwandad are my favourititht peeple in the world and they hath come for the weekend!

Its a constant source of attention when the grand-folk come over Monty loves it as he and Grandad can sympathise about being out-numbered by the women in the family and we get double doses of cuddles. I seem to be suffering from my first real moult and there is white and grey fluff rolling like tumbleweed throughout the house. Mum thought she would give me a good shedding with the comb last night but got a bit exhuberant and it seems I have a bit of a manly bald-patch on my rear. Am slightly embaressed by this as I am an intelligent and pretty bunny obviously not quite at my best at the moment. I must admit I am feeling a little put-out and stroppy and have spent the evening taking whatever Monty is chewing on, out of his mouth and finishing it off myself.

Tonight we are sending all our love and thoughts to Maddie.
